July 2019 - a cup of ayahuasca-analog tea liberated a hikikomori student from his suicidal ideation. An otaku man who offered the tea was arrested, but he insisted it was compassion of Bodhisattva at the court in Kyoto, an ancient capital of Japan.

Last year, on 4.19, 2023, we had an online meeting with eight researchers / psychonauts from seven countries to commemorate the 80th anniversary of LSD research. As an anthropologist studying shamanism and Buddhism, I'd like to cooperate with the researchers in other fields of psychedelic research.
In September of last year, I happened meet Professor David Nutt at a Neuropsychopharmacology Conference held at Juntendo University in Tokyo. We discussed the possibility of establishing an international association for psychedelic research by 4.19, 2024.
Sadly, I have been suffering from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) during the last winter. The depression dispirited my ambition.
I took SSRIs and suffered from side effects for two weeks, after that I took ketamine and recover in just two days. Not only an anthropologist, but also as a patient, I gained insight into the emerging field of psychedelic renaissance and the new medical research surrounding psychedelics.
In Japan, there is long tradition of shamanism and Buddhism. Industrious Japanese industrialized our society and integrated Western science into our traditional culture, but the industriousness increased depression patients. From this country, I appeal to the possibilities of new psychedelic research.
Spring has come. Come to join us. I pass the baton of my personal dream to colleagues toward new international cooperation for psychedelic research.
